Swish Duo Curtain Track Systems |
|
Because the Swish
Duo system has changed and the old parts are now
difficult to source we have included this page so that
customers can identify the system they have and if
necessary upgrade broken parts to fit their existing
Tracks and Valances.
Both the old and
new systems use the Swish Superluxe Track and the Swish
Plastic Valance Rail, neither of which has changed, so
therefore it is easy to replace the old style parts with
the new.

The Old
Style Swish Duo System |
|
The Old Swish Duo
curtain track used a wall box secured to the wall, with
a metal L shaped bracket which slotted into it.
We are sorry we
don't have any of the Wall Boxes left to illustrate the
system more accurately.
A
Standard Swish Leverlock Bracket
was firstly pushed onto the
system connector bracket.
Then this assembly was slid onto the metal bracket. The
curtain track being attached as normal with the lever to
lock it in place. |

 |
|
An additional
valance system connector
bracket was then used to secure the valance to the rest
of the assemble, making up an integrated curtain track
and valance system. |

Here are some
images of the old style Swish Duo system with all parts
displayed. |

The New
Style Swish Duo System |
|
With the new style Swish Duo
system a wall box is still used to connect a bracket
which then carriers the track and valance rail.
As you will notice from the
picture to the left the new system already has fewer
parts. |
 |
|
The track is secured to the system
using a different type of
system connector bracket
which incorporates the lever which thus gets rid
of the need for the need for the Standard Leverlock
bracket. |
 |
|
The track is them
secured to the system connector bracket directly and the
valance rail similarly is directly hung from the end of
the plastic L shaped bracket. |
